Remote onboarding depends on the provider, business profile and people involved. Some applicants can use video or online verification; others may need to attend an interview or provide further documents.
Confirm eligibility before arranging travel
Ask whether the provider accepts the company's place of incorporation, business activities, ownership structure and the residence of its directors, beneficial owners and signatories. An online application form does not mean every applicant can finish the process remotely.
A bank, including a licensed digital bank, and a payment platform offer different legal products. Check the contracting entity, permissions, service limits and applicable safeguards. Do not assume every platform accepts every overseas applicant or provides the same protection as a bank deposit.
What to prepare
- Company incorporation and current corporate records.
- Identity and address information for the people the provider needs to verify.
- An ownership chart and evidence for corporate owners where relevant.
- Business activities, contracts or other evidence, source of funds and expected transactions.
- Accepted certification and the proposed signatory arrangements.
Confirm whether originals, particular certifiers or an in-person interview are required for your application. The provider can request further checks and makes its own approval decision.
IMSG's incorporation package includes certified copies of the agreed company documents and a bank introduction letter. Any wider application preparation, meeting coordination or follow-up needs an agreed scope and fee. See the full application guide.
